Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Employer Advantage (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at https://employeradvantage.ca (the “Site”). It covers the Site only. It does not apply to our offline activities, apps, or other business systems (such as sales or customer support platforms).
This privacy policy was created with the help of Azuro Digital’s Privacy Policy Generator.

- Technical data automatically collected when you visit the Site, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and approximate location
How We Use Information

- To respond to your inquiries, schedule consultations, and provide requested information
- To send email updates you have subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email)
- To understand Site usage and improve content and layout
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site and to understand how it is used. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; the cookies needed to make the Site work are always set. You can manage or clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Sharing and Service Providers
We share information with companies that help us operate the Site (for example, website hosting, analytics, security, email delivery, cookie consent, and our job board). These providers act on our instructions and are bound by appropriate safeguards.
Depending on the features you use, these providers include our website hosting provider, our email delivery provider, our cookie consent provider, and the provider of the Employer Advantage job board.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above (generally about 12 months unless we need it longer to meet legal, tax, or security requirements).
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us via email at calgary@employeradvantage.ca (Calgary) or reddeer@employeradvantage.ca (Red Deer), or by phone or mail using the details under “How to Contact Us” below.

You may request access to and correction of your personal information and withdraw consent where applicable. We may transfer information outside your province or country and use contractual safeguards for such transfers.

Notes on Specific Features
- Analytics: We use a privacy-focused analytics tool that runs on our own website rather than on a third-party advertising network. It records information such as pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location. It is not used to build advertising profiles and it does not follow you to other websites. Where analytics is treated as non-essential, you can decline it in the cookie banner.
